Last month, we worked with our favourite partner in wedding crimes, Hey Gorgeous Events. Rhiannon of Hey Gorgeous styled a “Kate Spade meets autumn in Northern Michigan” shoot, which showcased our stationery along with beautiful work from many other great vendors. The entire photo shoot was featured on The Wedding Chicks, and we couldn’t be more excited!
The end of summer… a sad time for many, but a happy time for us because we love autumn! If you’re getting married at this time of year, it’s sometimes hard to decide if you want to go with a summer palette or a fall palette. How about a bit of both?

We have a special inspiration board today—it’s by our intern, Catherine! Catherine is currently studying Graphic Design at the Sheridan + York program, about to enter her final year, and she’s spending three weeks with us to gain a bit of work experience.
We asked Catherine to come up with an inspiration board; the theme and colors were entirely up to her. I was pretty happy to see what she came up with—especially on a rainy, windy day like today. Beautiful job, Catherine!
We recently changed our Papertalk Press logo and branding, and I thought, wouldn’t it be lovely to create an inspiration board based on our colors? Hehe. Behold, a palette of inky blues and soft blush tones: Midnight Pink.
Did I hear right, that the groundhog was wrong? Sigh. We want to celebrate spring anyway – so how about a palette that calls a winter-to-spring mood? Beautiful golds and dark grey: Slated Glimmer.

We can’t believe it’s already 2011! Winter (for us anyway) is the dreariest of months thanks to snow storms and slippery roads, but it doesn’t mean that winter weddings can’t be beautiful. Here’s our inspiration board of whites, creams, greys and black: Wintry Wander.
